A BLOG POST'S SUCCESS IS DEPENDENT ON 4 KEY ELEMENTS:
-
It must contain the optimal choice of keywords to enable potential visitors to find it. This is a somewhat intuitive process based on choosing words that are not the obvious ones already bought up by the large organizations in your industry and with which it would not behoove you to compete. Rather, it is finding the secondary, organic, (free) keywords that will still be entered into search engines by hundreds of thousands of your potential customers and allow your site, based on these keywords, to be pulled up on the first page of a Google search.
-
Your blog post, once found, must then be written about fresh, interesting, significant news concerning your product or service, and it must provide the reader a reason to continue reading and return to your site again.
-
The blog post should also be written in a way that establishes or "brands" you as an industry expert. This is your chance to differentiate yourself from the competition by showing your knowledge, expertise and desire to educate and inform your customers.

-
The blog post should also be written persuasively, without being pushy or obvious, so that it moves the reader toward a commitment to purchase your product or service or engage further with your company in the manner you desire.
